Dos Santos Construction was founded and is led by Alex Santos, a builder who learned the trade on the job. We work in homes, apartment buildings and small commercial spaces across the Frederick area, from a single repair to a full room makeover. Our goal is simple: do the job properly, keep you informed and leave your space better than we found it.

How I got here
I'm Alex Santos. I trained in construction and worked as a mason back home in Angola, and I ran my own air conditioning maintenance business there before moving to the United States.
When I got to Maryland, I went to work for a local company doing remodeling and painting. I love this work, and I wanted to build something of my own.
So I started Dos Santos Construction with a simple idea: look at the job in person, write down the price and the date, and then show up and finish it. Today there are six of us, and we work on homes and apartment buildings in and around Frederick.
